3500/22-01-02-00 A twisted-shielded instrument cable is strongly recommended for analog module input or output signal connection.
Proper grounding of the shield is also important. For maximum electrical noise suppression, the cable shield should be grounded at only one end of the cable. For input modules, it is usually best to ground the noisiest end to the environment (usually the field device end). 3500/22-01-02-00 For the output module, the module terminal is grounded.
When connecting a device from User 3500/22-01-02-00 to the analog module, screw the terminals onto the removable 20-terminal connector block mounted on the front of the module. The modules used by the actual terminal are shown in the specifications of each module.
