DEIF's GPU-3 control and protection device is flexible and simple to configure, and can be used with PLC to achieve system power management.
The GPU-3 integrates generator protection and synchronization. Serial port can be provided to communicate with PLC, SCADA system and other systems. At the same time, all three-phase measurement values and alarm information can be displayed on the LCD display.
If the GPU-3 is used as an engine control unit with start/stop and protection functions, the optional engine interface card also has a separate power supply and a separate microprocessor. If the GPU-3 processor is damaged, the engine interface card goes into standby mode to ensure uninterrupted engine monitoring. If the shutdown alarm occurs, the engine will automatically stop. It is therefore a reliable solution for unit control and monitoring.
